Sequoia closure, castle fire

I think you're reading too much into this. I'm telling OP that there's no way to know because of fire's unpredictability. Sequoia's full closure is mostly unprecedented, even the Rough Fire only closed the entrance from the 180.

My example of Yosemite is to compare Reddit's reaction to an unprecedented situation of park closure with another. We have no idea, we are all just guessing, and we are often incorrect. Even firefighters don't know, because they don't know the weather for next Monday yet.

My guess is that it'll probably still be closed (and if not, the air quality will probably be ass), but it's as good as anyone else who's lived in wildfire country long enough and has access to a fire map: nearly worthless.
