Drew Manning, a fitness trainer, gained over 70 pounds to better understand the troubles of his overweight clients, then lost the extra weight within 6 months.

Me? I have a 10 month old, my husband is the only one that works and we don’t make a lot of money, and I am at my pre-pregnancy weight and getting in better shape everyday. Make it a priority. Work out with your kids. I work out with my daughter in the room and when she fusses I do squats/lunges/whatever while holding her. It’s not hard. You would be surprised how entertaining jumping jacks and the like can be for a child to watch. She often “dances” when I work out. I try to engage her during my routine as much as possible. I’m also a nurse (when I do work) so I have seen first hand how important it is to take care of your health. It can seem really scary and difficult at first but make it a priority. Even if you can only manage 10 minutes a day at first at least it’s something! I work out at home if that wasn’t obvious already which makes it a lot easier. No travel time. No packing up kids. There is a YMCA in my area that is daycare but I am waiting until she’s older to take advantage of that. Don’t give up! You can do this!
