should I start a Roth IRA?

No military, just related. And putting the $200 aside for the Roth would still leave me some money for my bank savings each month. I'd like to keep growing my bank savings account Incase someone immediate happens and I need that cash.

At the time of car purchase I thought I was looking forward. APR was low and I was completely debt free. A Subaru holds their car value very well and I got the extended warranty to match my loan time. I figured getting a good car now that can last me the next 18-20 years would be good, after 7 years the car will be paid off and only be 7 years old, I can then resell it if I want and gain profit. Obviously I'll still loose that "new car drive of the lot deprecation" but.. idk. Seemed okay to me. I also still planned to save money while paying for the car, but I've recently learned about the Roth IRA and I'm interested in it.
