I know it's not news that these EDM blogs are terrible, but this article is particularly bad.

A) He didn't fucking reveal cube 2.1 here. He revealed it during his live rehearsal stream and subsequently in the "Let Go" music video.

B) The cube has had "3D elements" for 6-7 years already. The visuals for Get in the Cart, Pig, were intricately 3D modeled back in 2011. For those who haven't seen it, this video shows the work that went into the original cube: http://possibleproductions.com/work/deadmau5-meowingtons-hax/

Super cool stuff.

C) This is not a fucking cube 2.1 preview. This is him literally dicking off in C4D/etc working on getting note syncing working properly.

D) "He even said that this structure is so large that it will only be able to fit in large stadium and arena settings, so expect a massive size tour coming soon!"

He's playing at the fucking Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, which is historically where he's played all of his Chi-Town shows. Aragon is neither a stadium, nor an arena. Also, there is no "massive size tour "coming soon". lotsofshowsinarow.com has been live for quite a while. While it's expected that he will reveal a 2nd phase of the NA tour, the venues that will be showcasing Cube 2.1 are not a fucking mystery. That "came" months ago.

E) "Expected to premier in his show sometime around March of this year".

Bro, Lots of SHows in a Row tour dates have been confirmed for a long time. This isn't some damn "sometime" mystery. Cube 2.1 is going to make its first apperance Mar 19 in NYC. Why is it so hard to report that?

I dunno, maybe I'm just in a mood, but this article particularly annoyed me with its trying to creat somethign out of nothing agenda.
