This shrinkflation has got to stop

Only cure for high prices, is high prices. Collectively people will just have to stop purchasing, however that is less likely to happen. I think what you said about price controls is more likely to happen as we see more an more people not be able to afford a basic standard of living whether they are low or middle class. Especially since inflation is going to continue to happen as the rest of the world dedollarizes and we switch over to a new world order and have a new basis of currency. USD won’t go anywhere but UBI is already being implemented in small forms in some states already so it’s already got presidents we’ll just see it exponentiate from here like everything technological related does. So as prices get higher and people have less money, if UBI grows larger only way to give money in large amounts would need to be able to be traced so it goes to things that give money the velocity and keep the economy stimulated (stimulus) and not in your back account to save money or invested in a stock. Futures for some commodities look weak in 2024 so don’t think this will go on forever, we will see more government intervention for sure, maybe not what we should want tho…
