Why would you require men's support anyway? India is a democracy last I checked. If enough women care about any issue, they can get together and get it done through legislation. Question is do women support other women enough to let it happen?

An example would be: I belong to a community which was extremely dominated by upper castes some 30 years ago. Now our guys made efforts to band all of us together, forget everything else and get them chosen to the parliament. He made sure that important decision making offices and institutions are occupied by people from our cohort. 30 years later, today no one can dare to raise a fucking voice against us at all.
