I started making money when I was 19. By the time I was 26, I was tired. I hated having to go to work and spend 8-9 hours there. I would often quit jobs and just freelance. I stopped freelancing this year, and stuck to WFH job with average pay. I am content, I am happy, and I am satisfied.

I am not into luxuries, I am not into traveling abroad, I am not into buying a house/car, etc. However, my partner is somewhat into that. She would like to go to Paris, get a home theatre, etc. However, due to my lack of ambition and less salary, she has to compromise. It has never been an issue amongst us though. She prioritises my mental health over money, and picks up extra shifts to maintain our lifestyle. I guess, she likes playing the role of "provider" and it makes her feel useful.
