Hey man!

So what's your experience on Craigslist been like? I don't like the other sites you mentioned because my picture HAS to be in public view to get a reply. I hate the lack of privacy. On CL, you can write an ad and get a lot of replies, with no picture.

I am facing a lot of problems with Craigslist. Apart from the spam, creepy men replying to me, and prostitutes (FYI, I will not pay for sex).. there's quite a few issues.

1) Real women replying to my ad, but ONLY once.. I don't understand why they do it, they write thoughtful replies that prove they are real.. and then I reply back "Hey, nice to hear from you.. where you from?" etc.. Never hear from them again!

2) I don't know what you think about women with kids, but it's not my thing. I would say MOST of the women who have a conversation with me have kids. I'm almost never attracted to women with 3 kids, for example. I don't mind women in their late 30s and early 40s, but once kids enter the equation, I'm out.

3) Well, I am not ugly, but I am nothing special either. I get a lot of women looking at my picture and then not replying, a lot who say I'm "very cute" but stop talking anyway (don't understand this one!) I do get some who really like my looks, though, and I have gotten their number. The problem is I don't know what to do next. One of them never replied whenever i mentioned anything about "calling" or "meeting,".. the other one (who still talks to me) says she could meet, but it's going to be "only platonic."

I know it's a lot to read here, though.. so if nothing else, I want to know what I should do to get them interested in me BEYOND being their stupid texting friend, etc. Maybe I just need to gain muscle mass in my arms (I'm a skinny guy) and take a better picture? What worked for you?
