This video made me smile, we need to see this more often from the police force.

Don’t agree with pulling some one over for any reason unless they genuinely break the law — also don’t agree with accusing this of being a PR stunt because they gave her ice cream. I don’t really know what PR stunt this could’ve been for since it was definitely made before recent events causing strikes against police officers. Hell, I live in Halifax and never heard of a PR stunt for anything of police pulling pedestrians over to give them ice cream. I’m mostly 90% sure this was before 2020 or atleast the past few months due to the fact he handed her ice cream without gloves/mask and we’re very cautious about the spread of covid-19 here. There was no proof of the claim some are making that they’re trying to look good and ‘not racist’ for being kind to a woman of colour. There’s no way to tell if they waited on the road for a car which had a black person in it, then got out their camera. It’s also pretty difficult to see into some one’s car unless you look closely to the window so it could’ve been any one. Sure, she was clearly afraid, and it’s a shit thing to do when you stop innocent people over (she could’ve been on her way to a job interview, ER, something important), and he’s wasting her time. Besides that, there’s no proof of anything to do with racism and he even said it was ‘to see if she’d pull over’. No one can ever watch a video and say ‘hey, that was a nice thing to do’ and there always has to be something to do with race especially because she’s a black woman. This probably had nothing to do with race, and if she was a white woman then it would be wholesome. Because she’s black, it’s only them trying to look good so it’s racist. Please take a step back EVERYONE commenting about race and stuff.
