First general goals if you just want a direction to take without thinking much:

1 - do all quests the black spirit recommends/suggests, ignore other quests for now.
2 - get level 56, do awakening quest to awaken your character. Don't worry about fancy items, you don't need any yet.
3 - try out other things like life skills as you wish to or as you find time to

figure out how you want to make silver in game, and spend your silver on ways to increase your silver-making potential.

Example -- if you want to grind monsters all day for silver, use your silver to increase your AP by way of better weapons/gear so you can kill enemies better, to get more silver faster, to afford to upgrade to even better items, to get even more silver faster -- and so on, and on, and on.

here's a thought -- I've seen new players work very hard to save up 150 million silver for a base-level boss gear item, and then start trying to enhance it, but only get it up to like +9 or so and not be able to afford to go further. So it just sits there doing nothing until they can afford to continue trying to enhance it. Eventually that boss item will be godlike, but right now it's nothing but untapped potential, just sitting there. Meanwhile, they could alternatively have bought a tri ultimate "green" grade weapon for far less price, that is already pretty good but lacks future potential, and then be strong enough to grind at a higher, better location right away and set themselves up for better silver-earning potential right away.
