Chulane, Teller of Tales - $42.27

The aim of this deck is to use a variety of etb effects generating creatures alongside Chulane to net cards and mana, playing a midrange oriented gameplan and finishing with Cloudstone Curio loops with cards like Shrieking Drake , Dream Stalker, and similar such combos. The majority of the deck is centered around abusing Chulane's ability to Explore as you cast creature spells, generating a mana advantage through this sort of land based ramp. Mana fixing in 3C is weaker at this budget level, but this deck is fairly effective at working around the issue through the use of green land tutors and a modest density of mildly efficient dual lands. The deck's budget is very wildly skewed towards the inclusion of Cloudstone Curio, which takes a full 50% of the TCGplayer low, but rest assured the deck does not meaningfully suffer for this! I intended this to be at a budget well under the submission limit to try and maximize affordability, and leave wiggle room for players who do have budget that truly include the commander, as this deck comes in under the $75 limit including the currently $30ish Chulane at the helm, so I hope you enjoy!
