Starting over as F2P is so satisfying

I'm going through the same thing right now. I deleted my account (disenchanted everything) two months ago after two years of playing because I was growing too addicted & spending too much money on it.

I decided to restart with the stipulation that I will never spend a dime & never play more than an hour a day. It's honestly the most fun I've had in Hearthstone since I first started playing two years ago. So much more fun than spending hundreds of dollars on cards and then inevitably getting frustrated at the game because the pleasure you gain from it is stupidly, disproportionately low to the dollars spent.

I've been having a blast having to build decks with basic/common cards and whatever scattered spare rares I have. I actually reached rank 10 this season in part by using some goofy Priest deck with cards that nobody ever seems to use, like Shadow Ascendant. It's taught me that unless you're trying to hit Legend or whatever, you really just do not have to spend money on this game at all in order to enjoy it & win games.
