Starts Oct 18: New Online Instructor-Led Introduction to Scala Course

I'm not a troll, and if I was one, telling me to go away? that's just fuel.

  1. I clicked the comments of this section because the topic caught my attention.
  2. I have been enrolled in Coursera courses previously, that also removed content after some time, but due notice was given and people had time to back up any content they wished to save, I was still annoyed, but understood as they had given fair notice and I had not acted upon it.
  3. I'm a beginner in Scala, who is interested in potentially enrolling in courses to better my understanding.

And then I see this train-wreck of a thread, get discouraged from ever taking one of your courses, not only because of what ysihaoy said, but also the stance you take in defending your course.

violation of privacy.

Well you so clearly care about that, enough to check my Reddit history enough to work out that "leach" isn't just the animal / verb but my last name, or my github profile.

You have also revealed ysihaoy's enrollment history with your site, once again, a violation of privacy.

In addition, you are seriously verging on breaking reddit's guidelines on self promotion given your previous history. https://www.reddit.com/wiki/selfpromotion
