You asked a question of why strip stretching is done. I've given an explanation. Clearly you do not wish to accept the explanation.

Whether one is just given a gown, have their laces taken, or is strip searched is determined by the level of risk the unit is willing to accept, but the policy should be uniform for the unit.

I have never strip searched anyone nor do I work on a unit where strip searching is done. You are transferring your own thoughts and feelings about your experiences onto me, which is inappropriate to do. At this point, I don't think anything I say will serve as an adequate explanation for you, so if you feel you have a justifiable enough argument against the policy, I would take it up with the hospital you were seen at and/or pursue it through civil court.
