This is why many Turks historically and even today have what would be considered Greek ancestry, as they are primarily decedent from native Anatolians, Greeks included, even some Sultans like Murad IV, had Greek mothers. I'm in no way saying Greeks are 100% pure blood decedents of ancient Greeks, that's just absurd, we have had outside influence, from Avranites, Aromanians(Vlachs), some negligible others, but Greeks are primarily decedent from Greek speaking Romans. But I don't know where you get Middle eastern from
