No to the "weekly theory thread."

The whole idea of reddit is to encourage users to participate, to post threads as well as comments.

To create a rule that would place all theories in one mass thread will discourage participation, in my opinion.

As always, there are (some) people who are motivated by the karma they may earn with each individual post. They would lose that motivation.

I think it's a terrible idea to make a rule that would discourage participation by forcing users to use only one thread for theories (in a science fiction genre of all places which invites speculation and theory).

As a theorist who loves to speculate about every show I watch, I wouldn't participate in this sub if I had to worry about which thread I use to I post my ideas.
