Subaru dealer mentality

Mastro is a great dealership. I purchased a 2015 Impreza Sport Premium from them a week and a half ago. I had a game plan set and surprisingly barely had to use it. Their initial pricing was very close to what I was going accept. >I don't review anything, ever, but this had to be mentioned.

I bought my 2013 WRX Certified pre-owned about 5 hours from home in Vero Beach, FL. It had 16k miles at the time of purchase, and the clutch always squealed while the pedal wasn't depressed. Last week, at 27,xxx, my clutch started slipping.

I took it to Mastro Subaru today, expecting an uphill battle to have the clutch checked out under warranty. I had argument points ready, having stressed over this the whole week prior. I showed up, handed over my keys, and described the issue. Here was the response:

Service Manager: "Ok. We've got you covered, don't worry. Tranny has to come out, though. How are you getting home?"

Thrown off by this, I mumbled "Uh, let me call my wife..."

SM: "Nah, don't bother. Take this 2015 Forester as a free loaner."

Me: "But that's for people who buy from you. I didn't buy my car here."

SM: "That's ok. Everybody makes mistakes. Here are the keys."

I'm completely blown away. This is the best customer service I've ever had anywhere. Since buying my car in September, I've convinced four other people (my wife included) to switch to Subaru. All bought their cars from Mastro in Tampa, and I sure as hell will continue sending business their way.

I would like to mention I do not work for Mastro and have no ties with that dealership. I was simply blown away by the service. They've earned a customer for life.
