Summer is a boring, the writers are lazy with her character and the director seems to want more but can we please stop demonising her for her failures, just for a sec? She’s being raised amongst narcissistic man babies, her dad tried to split up her dad from her dad by destroying her dads life so he could move in with her dad ffs, and it all gets swept under the carpet like it meant nothing. IMO, she’s gonna be somewhat weird by default. I’d rebel if I realised I was nothing but a heartstring to be pulled whenever my weird dads started playing 4D chess with their love lives. They don’t care about her, they care about how caring for her makes them look.
