Teen phone monitoring app leaked thousands of user passwords

They’re kids. They’re supposed to be monitored until they prove they can be independent and responsible.

It’s wrong when the government does it to citizens, because they are adults, and the government/state is responsible for raising its citizens to adulthood not keeping them in perpetual childhood, and because the state serves the people and the state should be an extension of the people’s will, not the other way around.

That is why the state should be monitored by the people, not the other way around. And similarly why children should be monitored by their parents. Freedom is very easily misused, and parents should be making an effort to ensure their children learn how to use it properly
