I had this girl I was best friends with for many years, and her boyfriend, come and stay with my boyfriend and I during EDC so they could save money on Ubers and we could carpool, they didnt have to spend any money basically but we spent a lot. No big deal, they were friends. We help out wherever we can. Its what friends do. Well I had 1 dog at the time, a small 4 pound chihuahua. My friend told me her aunt lived nearby and also had a chihuahua. At first I thought she was like hinting at puppy play dates or something but she eventually started hounding me saying that her aunt wanted my dog and the dog would be in a good home. Like somehow my home wasnt good enough. We lived in a very large house in Vegas with a roommate who also had 2 labs. Inground pool, a very nice place with spoiled animals. I figured out she had actually set up a scheme with her aunt to try and steal my dog, I read her texts when she wasnt looking. I finally kicked them both out by the end of the weekend, I was pissed. She then tells me her aunt worked for animal control and they called and filed animal abuse to them on us, and had animal control show up to do a home inspection. Animal control was obviously very confused and angry that this rude lady made them waste their time. She told them that we were absuing our dog, all because we kenneled her while we went to the concert. She then told our mutual friends we cost them so much money by kicking them out during their visit, like we were the awful ones in this situation. Were not friends with those people anymore, and my dog is still happy as hell and spoiled, and thankfully not stolen.
