Test

  1. United States of America

  2. I strive to constantly improve upon myself and my capabilities. The basic duties of cleaning the queue, appropriately flairing posts, regulating mod mail, enforcing rules, and helping out the community are things that I will be able to uphold. I understand that current mods are looking for flair-only moderators specifically and I am completely content with being able to help out the community in this way. However, I will also be interested in assisting further with full access. I would make a good moderator on /r/starcraft but I plan on being a great one.

  3. I'm extremely active on Reddit as I work a 1:00PM to 9:00PM UTC office job that isn't very engaging. Rarely will I have pertinent work to do because my position is equivalent to that of an intern. After work I am still engaged with Reddit even more so because I get to utilize RES and toolbox.

  4. Yes, I am a mod of /r/Blizzard and /r/PauperHS. I became a mod of /r/Blizzard because they were having a spam problem and reached out for assistance. I reached out and let them know that I would be willing to help but was clear about my inexperience with moderation. The head mod at the time set up AutoModerator while I just flaired and played around with all of the settings in the sub. At the same time I was actively looking to make changes and created a test subreddit where I would self-teach myself HTML and CSS basics. Eventually, I was able to find my way around the settings and started implementing changes. I began our implementation of the /r/Naut design scheme. /r/Blizzard doesn't normally get much activity until Blizzcon comes around so I would be able to comfortably browse other subreddits while keeping a watch on /r/Blizzard. I also found myself engaging with a group of people that wanted to play a Pauper format of Hearthstone. After being a vocal contributor from the beginning of the subreddit and giving my input and advice of how to navigate. The creator with no prior knowledge asked me to help and I built the foundation of the sub from the sidebar, stylesheet, wiki, and flair creation.

  5. As shown with my experiences above, I'm a passionate person for games and particularly love the Blizzard games. Starcraft was actually the first Blizzard game that I ever played and I have fond memories of it. I'm a fast learner and always eager to seek out more knowledge.

I hope to hear back from you guys soon! Feel free to reply back with any questions, I'm also reachable at [email protected] if that's more convenient. Have a splendiferous day!
