It isn’t free if I’m still spending money nor did I buy this game for a race ticket that I still have to spend even more money to travel for. I bought a game I should be able to play repeatedly with little to no problem. If I wanted a race ticket, I’d buy a race ticket and book travel accordingly.

My criticism is that gamers who want a good nascar game have now likely spent $150 over the last 3 releases and we still have issues that haven’t been addressed. Yes, at the end of the day it’s just a game, but, when you spend your earned money on it you have an expectation that the developer has done their due diligence to make it worth what you’re paying. Instead, we have numerous clumsy oversights like Team Penske Toyotas and rampant “cheating” in multiplayer like players driving almost through the infield to make a turn. If they can’t get it right by the 3rd release then maybe it’s time to pass it off to a developer who has the time and capacity to pull it off.
