Is there an African Country with the Ambition to become a Great Power or Superpower?

I think Nigeria is the one to watch for this. More and more "rich", "western" connections in business are being made. And capitalism likes to get things done for as cheap as possible, so it will keep turning to the one whos output good productivity and a low price and are compliant. Those rich westen businesses will then further help the infrastructure in Nigeria to help their own cause, but it'll help Nigeria in other business ventures. Nigeria I think has the capacity to become a true rival and contender in the world of superpowers in the next 50yrs. I think African unions also have the capacity to become a wolrd superpower, but they won't happen as quickly, at which point, the superpower goal-posts, criteria and struggles may change things which could hamper their ability later to ever become a superpower.

That's my relatively uneducated opinion on the matter. I have done a good bit of reading on this type of thing within Africa, but I am in no means educated enough to know for sure that my opinion is even valid here haha!
