“There are no facts, only interpretations.” - Friedrich Nietzsche

Uh... I don't slavishly accept everything scientists or "experts" say. Not speaking from a position of elitist authority either. Let me explain in a respectful way.

There have been centuries of norms when it comes to traditional roles and understanding of family, social roles, gender, etc. There was little confusion about these ideas so society had a cohesive and collective understanding. Conservatives hold onto these very strongly.

Now, everything is viewed from the POV of cultural or societal constructs that need to be taken down and reframed. Is the nuclear family a positive norm? What is race? What is gender? What is masculinity? X, Y, and Z are all the products of power structures.

These are questions that deserves to be asked but it has become so socially divisive and confusing that people find it hard to view anything as legitimate. Call me hyperbolic but it is destroying all common and shared values and now almost nobody's happy.
