Except that's not actually true, the reason China is winning in solar is proximity and better economic policy. They have a geographic advantage since they're just closer to the majority of required resources and the factories that produce the components. Add to that the fact that china has subsidized their solar industry and we haven't they're just better off. It wasn't hostile trade policy, it was a mixture of chance and the fact that republicans are beholden to fossil fuels and sabotaged america.
