Here's the thing, it was identified in 1947 by Bohr, who was doing work post WW2 that we are actually on one of the worst timelines. Yes the LHC is causing neurotumultic wave emission, but we need the high energy accelerators to punch through so we can get out of this timeline before it collapses. We almost had it with the high-lumi run, to the point that LIGO actually picked up the ripples, but we're not quite high enough energy yet.

Once we get the tear open and stabilised, it'll all calm down. The tear itself might look a bit like the untempered schism or a stargate, but it'll be stable when the shockwave subsides. That's why it's so far underground. Keeps it all safe.

The "micro black holes" is a myth though.
