After having issues with a modulator (It would cut out whenever the image was dark. For example, the PS2 menu is static. If anyone has any solutions for this, let me know), I've purchased a VCR. My PS2 is connected, but no image is being displayed and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Any advice would be appreciated.

TV: Zenith System 3 Space Command (SZ1963W) Note: RF-Only

VCR: White-Westinghouse VCR (WVCP8000)

Quad-Shield Coax cable connected to VCR via RF OUT. PS2 connected to VCR via AV to RCA/composite. Set to channel 4 (switching to 3 does not make a difference). I also attempted to use the cable that came with the VCR (It's similar to a coax cable but does not screw in, apologies for not knowing what type of cord it is) with no luck. The only difference it made was channel 4 disappeared for a minute; I was able to manually go to the channel, but it did not appear when using the up/down channel buttons.
