Thoughts on Amy Wax doc?

A couple of thoughts.

I see a good number of logical fallacies in her comments. For example, she points out various factors that she thinks is correlated with race but then proceeds to use this to undermine her opposition's position instead of directly refuting their claims with data. Skip to around 10 min mark. "You see this roster of who's leading the endless number of programs where they talk about how racist medicine is and all this. And you see these brown faces." Umm so? This comment only accomplishes to spew hate and does not address the underlying issue.

On the issue of diversity of thoughts, I don't think most people are interested in engaging with people with opposite ideas when it comes to politics. On the left, I constantly see comments like "no one should ever be made uncomfortable" and on the right I observe reflexive knee jerk reaction to anything that violates their views. These actions go directly against what they say about the role of diversity of thought when asked about its importance. It's much easier said than done.
