I have had my fair share of various new and old SW receiver's, I've had 3 xdahta d808 and ended up passing them on the most recent has a type c charging port, I prefer the tone and the way the tecsun 330 handles memory management etc and I think it sounds better on SSB. I use the tecsun 680 the most, manual tuning is incredibly fast and it sounds excellent on SSB, however it's only shortcoming is it misses a fair few stations on a scan which the xhdata d808 saves. I also have the tecsun 990 not much of an upgrade over the 880 though I do prefer the slightly less bass it has for SW though SSB is still quite abysmal, though I would say better than the xhdata. A lot of people do prefer the D808 over the 330, slightly better MW, airband, RDS and a larger capacity battery are some cool features over the 330.
