TH's taped video message

I've always thought that this video might be extremely important, much like the two deleted messages. People keep throwing around terms like video diary and film school project, but we don't know that.

I'd really like to see the full contents - and it was played at trial. Was Teresa trying to tell people something?

Donna Gail Manson, whose death was attributed to Ted Bundy, had "dabbled in the occult" and was "obsessed with death, magic and alchemy," according to chronicler Stephen Michaud. Literature from "Thought Power, Inc." - an organization offering "seminars on positive thinking and mind discipline" - was found in her room. Manson's disappearance wasn't reported for a full week. If you recall, Halbach's disappearance wasn't reported for 3-4 days and her roommate never explained this.

Another of Bundy's alleged victims, Laura Aime, disappeared on Halloween like Teresa. A few weeks before, she had said to her mother out of the blue: "Mother, I don't want to be buried in a dress." Her request was honoured. Her murder, however, remains very mysterious. Although she was reportedly held captive for a week, her hair was freshly shampooed - either shortly before or after death. Mack Holley, the local sheriff, was convinced that another suspect - a man later convicted of brutally murdering and sexually mutilating his girlfriend - was responsible.

Sharon Tate told actor Christopher Jones that she believed she was going to die soon. She told another confidant that she had experienced a powerful vision of Jay Sebring tied to a post and stabbed to death - precisely as he would later be discovered alongside her and three others in 10050 Cielo Drive. Tate, whose father was a senior Army Intelligence officer, had been initiated into witchcraft by Alexander Sanders in 1967 on the set of "Eye of the Devil," a satanic-themed film directed by her husband Roman Polanski. This was one of many such movies by Polanski, others including "Fearless Vampire Killers," "The 9th Gate," and of course, the infamous "Rosemary's Baby." Polanski later fled to Europe after being convicted of child molestation.

I've actually found this to be an unusually common theme that runs through high-profile murders, and it makes me wonder: if some people are programmed to kill, are others programmed to die?
