When Scal was doing post game recaps if it wasn’t him talking he didn’t have time for anyone else’s opinions on the game. He would argue his point constantly.
We talked about it here for awhile and a lot of people were pissed off. Scal would jump on people for the smallest things.
Starting next game I’m going to put together a list of passive aggressive comments of blatantly rude things scal can say at times. Yes he’s extremely charismatic, charming and boisterous but under that front he can also be a jerk.
Their was a post game show one night where Abby stated that “the Jay’s” combined for 60 pts tonight. It was after an exciting Celtics W and Abby seemed thrilled to discuss there overall play.
Instead of furthering into that topic Scal all of a sudden had an extremely aggravated look on his face. Like he smelled a bad fart. He starts laughing and looks over at Abby and says why do you call them “The Jays” ?
Abby played it off great because she’s a professional but then scal jumped in and said idk about that. Why not call them there actual names. Jaylen brown and Jayson Tatum…it’s not hard. All while having this smug look on his face laughing. He put her on complete blast.
Kendrick Perkins was on the Skype video and you could even see he was caught off guard on how blatantly rude that was. He would often try n change the subject.
So hear me out. Someone says Kornetts jump should be called the eclipse. I think that name is hilarious for it. Scal shuts that down and won’t shut up about the Kornett kontest because he wants it to stick.
Granted I absolutely love the Nick name TimeLord he started with Robert Williams but to call out Abby for combining the best duo in the league who both have Jay in there name to be absolutely stupid pissed me off.
He’s grandiose and seems to always want to be top dog. There was times on Reddit 2 seasons ago where we were talking about getting Abby away from him because he was teasing her left and right.
I’ve also noticed Gorman says simple things through out the game so he doesn’t upset the ginger. There was one game I think two seasons ago where Gorman made a joke about how old he is getting.
He said yeah scal at that time you must’ve been a high school kid. In which scal responded sounding extremely agitated. He said what are you talking about Mike I was actually at USC.
He’s just rude. His charisma is awesome. He knows the Game but he’s loud and I feel like gorman is low key annoyed by him. Just my take.
