'Toast needs to not be so revered in this community. I've watched him play several times and he's awful'.

Honestly, I don't think Toast is as good as he can be, as he has admitted himself. He sometimes makes mechanical/low APM mistakes compared to other top rated streamers. However, he makes up for it by flexibility and an insane ability to pull off off-meta comps that throws off other players. He can find ways to win with the worst comps on paper and make them seem OP, and he's done things like this since his Hearthstone days. He plays for fun and entertainment over just winning.

I imagine him at peak performance as kind of like that one player/team in tournaments that brings off-meta strats that just completely destroys everyone else and ends up changing or defining a new meta.
