Even if Vatican 2 wasn't dogmatic it like the rest of the magesterium cannot be ingored or declared invalid by the individual Catholic desiring to remain catholic.

We can have disagreement over the interpretation of the council and the documents it has produced. But not reject it.

The SSPX do not accept the council and are therefore schismatic according to me and Cardinal Burke. There is no inbetween you are either in or you are out. While some claim otherwise, what is certain is that they are currently non canonically recognised by the bishops within their jurisdiction.

If anything you shouldn't consider entering something where the canonical status is doubtful. Find traditional groups within the Church like FSSP or diocesan trad groups or ICRSS.
