Trying to decide on the topic for my bachelor thesis, could use some help..

I'm not sure if this is any help. But my recent lurking on /r/depression has revealed a common theme. Many individuals are suffering from depression and anxiety (something you already acknowledged as prevalent in you target population). The community rules advise against the posting of scientific research, which is understandable as it is, in my understanding, a community for sharing experience.

That being said, I have found that (in my own personal struggles and those of people I know) that developing an understanding of mental illness can help in dealing with it. Moreover, understanding mental illness can be incredibly helpful when interacting with someone who is or has been affected by it.

Given that the your study must pertain to education as well, out of my own personal interest as well as the obvious link perhaps you would consider examining what education college students have received on mental health, ow they perceive mental health, and potentially, what effect education (about mental health) may have on their perception?

I don't know. Food for thought at least, I hope.
