Try Guyanese curry blends and ARVA masala. Chris roti shop, Aloo roti shop and Rambali roti shop all have one thing in common, that is that they used Guyanese women to make the roti's. They also make them use Guyanese blends.

There is only one Surinamese blend that is really good though (maybe even better than Guyanese blends) and that is ARVA. You can find it in any Surinamese supermarket. Their goat and duck blend is even better. Some spices for their masala blend are not found in Guyana, but only in Suriname. One of those spices is Laos (Galangal). In
Suriname galangal is an important ingredient in many sauces and in regular cooking. Galangal was just made to be used with meat. It has an amazing taste. So that enriches the taste of the curry blend. All other roti styles in Suriname are prepared the same way as in Guyana.
