USF vs FSU

I’m a microbiology major and I’d say there are a lot of opportunities. There are networking opportunists so that you can find people to shadow and it seems like faculty is pretty willing and nice as well as graduates that are working in the field. I like the program is a good one and if you’re looking for opportunity it’s here. I actually previously worked in a lab and plan to go back into that so I didn’t go deep into doing a ton of research or volunteering as I won’t be applying to grad or med school but I know many who have and had easy luck finding stuff. I even had a professor who also worked at Moffit as a research scientist so there’s a lot people around to make connections with.
