After you have the builder gel nail set (i use apres belly nails and glue with the builder gel) and ready for color, i do a coat of clear dip over the whole gelly nail. I will two full dip clear coats and then a half to build the apex. Harden, buff and clean up. Then i use a with primer, apply 3 coats of OPI nail polish.

-use gel with a UV light for fast drying. -if you use a regular OPI nail polish, i like OPI nature strong), you have to wait for each coat to dry, but it’s worth it!!

Then i apply top coat (OPI infinite shine prime and top coat is amazing)

You can stop here, and just use low acetone remover to change colors (mine never chips) OR after the nail polish is COMPLETELY DRY, like 12 hours later (unless you use gel), apply another clear coat of dip to encapsulate it, activate, and then apply the top dip coat. And boom! Super durable manicure.
