The original owners meltdown is self evident, but personally I don't completely buy your story? I kinda think you liked being community leader, and felt you earned it, no matter how bad the other guy was at it. Surely you could have guessed this might happen, and would have thought about what you would say before hand, instead of acting like this happening would never have occurred to you. Your failure to respond to something you must have known would be coming failed your community, if not as badly as the other guy did.

The main thing that bothers me is the quick "mental health issues" thing you popped in your TLDR without explanation, I'm sorry, but that kind of jab will never sway me in anyone's favour.
