after seeing going to the protest & seeing videos of what went on inside and the impact and discussion it is causing online… I think that protesting this is worth it if u are free. The waves of transphobia that the event the other day has caused has affected every trans and nonbinary person I know constantly seeing the shit yct comes out with. I do think something needs to be done, because the only opinion i have seen yct hold this semester is basically just anti transness. I rlly do think conservatives have a place in politics even if I don’t like most I meet. Neal is doing this b/c yct sued unt over freedom of speech stuff in 2020. If he does anything they will probably sue again, and the school will have to pay money, pressure needs to be put on him. Also trans people did not ask for this!! The event yesterday had an impact online for sure, a vice article was written. I dont agree with everything everyone the other day did but I do not think this org is something that should be tolerated.
