Warning: Terrible Warranty Experience for Scout Yoho

Thought I’d throw it out there, I picked up my Olympic recently . It was there for about four days prior to my appointment. Somehow, the solar panel ended up being a dud, as there’s no input on the goal zero. If it was light out when I picked it up, I would have said something.

Tested the GZ and related components on other Olympic, worked fine. Went to scout for a resolution.

Didn’t want to travel to Portland over something that’s likely an easy fix. so scout tried to set me up with their vendor in Bend, but pushed out a month to even assess it. Who knows when it came to actual repairs. I found a rv technician certified and knowledgeable with strictly solar- they bitched about his service call fee, which was $75 and want me to handle it.

At the end of the day, I picked up a camper that should have never left the dealership. It was entirely preventable. I paid for a camper I cannot fully use.

Yesterday I sent out my technicians report assessing the issue, 24 hours later, no response.

Sounds like your issues are worse than mine, but wanted to add that the warranty department is still not handling my issue with the urgency I would expect.
