Getting guys like Wanya and Darnell are 10x more important than whoever ends up being OC
Completely disagree.
CFB has consistently shown that good coaching beats good recruiting 9/10 times. Hell, we've seen ourselves what good recruiting but poor coaching does (Butch Jones) and I don't recall anyone who was in love with those results.
In a perfect world we'd have a balance of getting good recruits and a good OC - and I'm not advocating that Pruitt should have ignored recruiting - but making the right OC hire is going to absolutely make/break Pruitt's tenure at Tennessee and I highly doubt a single player or even a pair of players are going to have that type of impact on his future.
