Type of Player: I'm very into roleplay and character development! I love when a character's past comes back to haunt them in the present, and has an impact on the story. Combat is fun too, but I'm not picky on how much combat is present in a game, as long as there's good roleplay moments too.
Additional Information: Technically, I'm very new to pbp. I only found out it was a thing last night! Myself and my friend (who is also looking for a game to join) have about 6 years of experience with text based roleplay and a few months ago I actually started DMing Curse of Strahd for us, but in written format over discord. We had no idea there was a community for this! Because of our background, we both have a tendency to post less often but write more, so ideally a slower paced game would suit us best? Though honestly I have no idea what a "normal" pace or length is.
