I’m in Oz too and isn’t our health system a beautiful thing. I hope it isn’t MS BUT if it is, I know several women who are living well with it.
I went through all the checks for that, I even had the radioactive isotope fmri and ooooh boy if that didn’t make me feel bad for a few weeks after yikes. Until I had the stent in I really thought I was dying. I was checked for everything, I was so weak, pale, gastropareisis, trembling all sorts of stuff. Long story short - - Dysautonomia (autonomic dysfunction following to many infections from flu and colds, at the time I was an actual single Mum going through domestic violence etc so I just pushed myself til I almost died yikes) - Pelvic congestion syndrome/May Thurner’s disease. Compressed pelvic vein leading to pain, neuropathy, swelling and mystery fatigues, fixed and slowly recovered after a stent was put in. - Systemic congenital venous occlusions (my veins have a connective tissue problem) which has to be managed with physio and botox
So…if you have any suspicion you might have bad circulation please please please check out with scans of your renal, pelvic, popliteal and subclavian veins. Very common, very under diagnosed. And…some of it is fixable. <3
