Hello! This is my second Reddit comment (ah!). DANIELLE’S STORIES ABOUT THE THERAPIST DEBACLE. I am so mad, y’all. I am a therapist (clinical social worker) and the waitlists we have right now are astronomical for a myriad of reasons. Her whole rant about it not being acceptable to have to wait for a therapist made me so angry. We are NOT at your beck and call. There are waitlists in place so that we do not have crazy high caseloads (tho I know some still do!) and are able to treat clients effectively and form therapeutic alliances. I sent her a DM because those stories made me so angry. We understand you’re going through something difficult but the world doesn’t revolve around you, Danielle.
