"Requiem for the American Dream" (2015) trailer - with Noam Chomsky

Yes, I know nothing of the world. You're so cultured. Let's see, did I grow up in Italy from ages 0-6 years? Then The US from 6-8? Afterwards 8-present Canada? I don't know. Have I been to over 16 countries in my life? I don't know. Do I speak 3 languages fluently, and understand 5-7 altogether? I don't know. You're so cultured though. Such a frank person you are, yes. We should all be bowing for such eloquent and exasperating responses from you, Mr. Cultured.

Now, no, actually. Knowing about the Basque people is not useful to anyone. And your comment about the US makes me feel like you've never been. Oh, yes, Nutella! The Italian product that is loved all over the world. However, since Americans REALLY love it and are the type to emphasize what they enjoy then there must be something wrong with them, right?

Politically speaking, things are done all over the world, which can be criticized and deemed fucked up. However, we, as people, enjoy assuming that we have perfect information about events that we aren't directly involved with. Shit happens. This doesn't give you the merit to bash a country that basically finances the entire world. Yes, believe it or not, The US is the largest, if not one of the, pillars holding the modern world up. Such is that. Is it a perfect country? No. Tell me one country without flaws? You can't. Is there a reason why people still fly to the US to get TOP NOTCH medical help? I don't know, must be the terrible doctors they have over there. So, don't do that, again. Bashing others simply displays your insecurities, especially when it is unwarranted. Don't do that.

There are countless of pieces of information that people aren't exposed to, so when they inquire then it is better simply state it instead of being a dick about it. Don't discourage curiosity.
