Trans = MTF

I actually think the issue is this: there ARE more MtFs online than FtMs. That's just the way it is. Look at how much is posted in each subreddit every day, and you'll see that.

I also see family members being chastised when they post in /r/ftm. You want more positive exposure, then BE more positive. There is NO understanding only personal attacks if anyone so much as makes a TINY mistake.... It's infuriating.

Bottom line is this too: I think the average age in /r/ftm is A LOT lower than /r/mtf. This creates too much oversensitivity and taking things personally. I have considered never going again, but decided against it merely because I want to be available to guide younger guys. And I'm FtM. Imagine, me, an FtM feeling like my own subreddit isn't for me.... Yikes!!

I don't know, I guess I feel that referring FtMs to the subreddit is completely okay. And to "hate" on MtFs for being more present is just counterproductive. It doesn't solve anything. You say we're forgotten, but I hear FtMs every day saying they want to be stealth. Almost every single one I've heard speak can't wait for the day they're stealth. So, to this I say: get over it! Truly being forgotten would be them saying: we're MtF, dunno what to tell you and I won't refer you anywhere either.

Trans men are forgotten cause almost all of them, once they go stealth, they never go back. THEY want to forget THEMSELVES!!! I remember an article being posted on a completely transitioned FtM and all the comments were: this is about vanity, this is about this or that negative aspect. Geez!!! Get a grip! We are our own problem, not our MtF counterparts.

Peace and cheers to all my MtF sisters out there! :)
