My neighbors on the other side of town never got coverage, nor did the couple in my parent's neighborhood up near the Holden line.

With the first, one died well before the other but they were found at the same time. Guess known meth-heads miss out on the T&G send-off.

Near my parents - older couple, retired, maintained their lawn/snow pretty well and it was spring when they croaked so not much to maintain at the time. They got a wellness check around June when the lawn was growing. Dead, only neighbors and family knew.

Totally other state - neighbor in my triplex croaked and was in there for 2 weeks before anybody checked. That smelled. No news. No obituary. No family. End stage alcoholic shut-in.

It happens way more than people think. Hell, my mom has found the body of her dad, her mom, my dad, and his dad (my gramps). She's got a "gift" or whatever. Or more people we know need to stop being stubborn and start croaking in hospitals rather than going with "I'm fine".
