No need to attack someone like that when you're partly in the wrong.

Thais make on average much less than Americans but we also have to remember Thailand is very much cheaper than America to live in. For nearly exact numbers, Americans earn about $8k a month whilst Thais earn $2800 a month.

I have a family member from Isaan making 15k baht a month as a cleaner in Pattayaa. That's unskilled labour but it's not a great pay. I also know this woman making 90k baht a month as a "skilled gardener".

There's also racism in Thailand towards people from Isaan. My family member has to face it almost daily as he's got the Isaan dialect and when it comes to police and such it gets even worse. He can't argue about pay or job positions without getting made fun of. He's from Isaan, he's not supposed to be rich. He's actively trying to learn a new dialect now though.
