What defines the "value" of a stock?

Literally just read through about 25 comments and they are all so far from anything that resembles a logical or coherent thought I reward all of you no points and may god have mercy on your souls.

You can tell most of these comments are from kids who wore weighted vests and run around on the balls of their feet in elementary school. The widely accepted definition of value is the present value of future cash flows. Some people touched on it but are way to autistic to finish the thought.

GME is a special case. I expect that 75% of the people who have bought GME have simply jumped on the bandwagon, 23% of people actually believe GME is a great company and will be the next Tesla (it won’t and that’s retarded) and 2% really under that this trade will be short lived and only working due to the current mechanics of the market and this particular security. The value of GME is from the appreciation from the short squeeze and nothing else. I hope none of the get this confused and are able to profit by getting out before it’s too late. When to get out is anybody’s guess but don’t be surprised if you’re too late. Long time lurker of this sub and I am proud to be able to say that after this events that have unfolded over the past week.
