What do you notice about PM couriers when YOU order in?

I can't stand when my Postmate texts me to tell me he has received my order or is on his way, I get text updates for those things already so its just more unnecessary contact. Also I (I know others don't do this) watch my driver on the app so I don't need him texting me when he's 5 mins away on the freeway at 70mph telling me he's 5 mins away. Again, we get updates when you're getting close. I follow and listen to those. I'm someone permanently changed by a distracted driver crossing lanes and slamming into my car in a head on collision. I do not like people who text and drive. I will literally remove dollars from a tip for someone who texts me while I'm watching them on the freeway. One of the few things that will cause me to give you only $1. (I'm a strong believer in not not-tipping.)

Also, while some might disagree, I hate getting what I deem as "weird" texts with emojis and shit like, "waiting on your food. keeping a good eye on it so its all ok. ;) ;)." Just...don't do that. It honestly comes over as sarcastic and just makes me paranoid about my food. Why are you winking at me?!?!?! (I've had MULTIPLE people do stuff like this.)

Mainly those two things annoy me. I don't like when drivers don't use the hot bags because I know y'all get them. When I get a good driver who uses them, my sandwich is always hot and nice. When I get one who doesn't, its always room temp. It does make a difference.

What do I like? I'm otherwise a simple lady. Just arrive without swerving on the block like a jackass (had one dude do this once, caused a big scene and was embarrassing for me) and say hi when I say hi and give me my food. Thats all I expect and want.

I only tip cash, so also say thank you. You'd think everyone would do it but they don't.
